I watched those ghost hunter guys try to find the ghosts
in his home in Jamaica.
Johnny had said he didn't mind living with them, they were nice.

Although I knew it to be true I was still taken aback when he said "I'm 71 years old".  The fact that he looked 101 years old deeply saddened me.  John was, as someone said above, the real deal.  I had the good fortune to work with him and June and their band at a string of gigs in the late seventies.  No pretension whatsoever.  A great guy and a hell of a man.  Rock on, ol pal...rock on.

wow.  fantastic interview - I had never seen that before.  he did look much older than 71 and looked like he was having a lot of trouble just talking.

what a great man - "a legend" even seems an unworthy description.

That was the last show of theirs I watched. I don't have satellite any more.

If I remember right, they caught an EVP that sounded like him.
