Just went to boot the system and the box was doing stuff but I wasn't getting anything on screen and because this thing is so quiet it seemed like only the fans and MOBO lights were working.

After nearly puking with fear I calmed down, looked at the back... and realized I had plugged the monitor into the MOBO VGA instead of the vid card.

That was absolutely terrifying. :-/

Well I've already hit my three beer limit so I'll just have to suck it up and change my underwear.

Not doing any music tonight but CoD is loaded up all good and fine and I'm getting audio through the interface and monitors. I think all is well.

I mean... I like spacey and all... but... eewwwwwww....

Every single time I have to put my computer back together, there are problems which make me want to smash the damn thing. It seems like the mere act of turning it off, unplugging everything, moving across the room, then moving it back, plugging everything back in and firing it up, causes multiple issues. 

Recently I moved my DAW because I was installing some new shelves. When I fired it back up, the keyboard was all screwy (caps lock was stuck on) and neither my audio interface nor VRM box would work. I had to reinstall the drivers for all of them. 

I mean how does the damn thing even know that things have been unplugged when it's switched off?  These things are sent to try us....

@sharke... Sounds like you've got the same case of black thumb I do. Things seem alright but I was very nervous about what might go wrong. Turns out the only problem this time was my own idiocy. lol
