Daryl - silly monkey - those won't work!  I couldn't possibly get my glasses on inside there!

I was thinking of the Audio Technica's I want for a second reference point... but now I'm not sure I have that model number right either. Brain all flurbled.

Have an old pair of the HD 580's and with those cushions it isn't bad at all, but again, those are open phones, not closed.

Maybe someone can design "glassophones" where the glasses somehow attach to the headband, and swing down into position?  That could be one way to eliminate the problem.

My AKG K240's are the only cans I've found that never cause problems with my glasses. I really wanted some ATH50 cans but they were a bit uncomfortable with glasses so I'm sticking with the over ear AKG's. I can wear them for hours without discomfort.

hmm, then maybe it's just the shape of my head and my glasses, then? 

they always hurt me after extended use just forward of my ears where the glasses arm will be pressed against my head as they enter between the headphone cup and my head.

I wear ATH-50's with glasses and no problems here. However I gave up on comfort when I bought my Grado's.

Very true.  FYI, I have the same situation--sometimes it bothers me, but not as much as it bothers you.  Some good Senheisers and some cheap Sonys.
