Beagle, I would think a regular monocle would be difficult since one always has to squint or do whatever to keep it in place, though it might work.

A hand-held monocular could be an option as well.  The hand held monoculars typically have considerable magnification though, and function in essence as a telephoto lens.  You would need to find one with as little magnification as possible.  Perhaps someone makes a 2x?  I don't recall if the 4x is the smallest magnification power.  They are worn around the neck for easy access, and are quite commonly used by those who are severely visually impaired (as in legally blind).

The thing is you would need perscription headphone/glasses. Or for a small fee I'll cut the sides off of a spare pair and mount it to your headphones. I'll guarantee my work but I can't promise it will look even remotely cool;)

I really do feel for ya Beag I have the same problem but so far I roll with it for better or for worse.

I was thinking more along the lines of having a sleeve on the cushions that you could slip your glasses arms thru which would cushion from your head as well.

I wear ATH-50's with glasses and no problems here.

Ditto here.

I do, however, often remove my glasses for singing. But I use different headphones (HD280Pro) for that, and they're a little tighter than the AT's. It also helps assure that I know the lyrics well beforehand.

Yanno, Beagle... it would probably be a lot easier to just go to your optometrist with your headphones in hand and ask to try out a bunch of frames until you find some that don't impede your cans (lol... that sounds like I'm talking about bewbz). I was really worried about this when I got my glasses but these frames seem to not get in the way at all. Maybe they could even jury rig something for you or hook you up with a pair that just kind of clip to your nose or something.

But a monocle would indeed be teh cool. Then you could send it flying when us CHers say something unfit for polite society.

And I mean... who doesn't LOVE Mr. Peanut?

I have tried dozens of earbuds but they won't stay in my ears!  seriously!  I must have unnaturaly shaped ears or something.

nah.  I'm almost 50 and the thought of surgery on my eyes does not sound appealing to me.

Not sure;  you may be able to add a 'soft cushion sleeve' on the glasses 'arms' to help relieve the pressure.  Ain't there any opts' that know of any such product?,  or try make it yourself.
