Finding signs of an old roach infestation. No live ones but a couple dessicated corpses and poop. Gonna have to keep a close eye on that situation. Yuck.

But in all seriousness in the absence of corpses or live critters poop is the way to identify an infestation.

Yes... I've dealt with this many times before. When there aren't disgusting humans in play I can usually conquer infestations sans exterminators. It's just a pain in the ass.

how do you identify the faeces Beeps? Taste? Smell?

Well only if I'm hungry. ;-)

...

But usually visual inspection. Little brownish black flecks the size of fine ground pepper stuck in the corner of cabinets is a good indication of a roach problem.

I will keep my eye out for them. This has been a very informative thread, Beepster. Well done.

if a few roach feces and carcases creep you out, you would never have survived my childhood.

ever seen Horders?  yeah.  and some of those are just "stuff" - not really that gross.

Well I haven't touched on methods to kill and prevent infestations yet but if you ever get roaches, mice or rats in your place you know who to come to. Cheers.
