Gibson is catching it on twitter. Join in guys and give em hell. #savecakewalk

Right.  Prior to today, the last Tweet from Gibson was in 2015.  I'm sure they'll be quaking over the Twitter outrage.

Still, we can make it trend - maybe should also tweet about/to Philips?

About time to start some Gibson flaming threads somewhere??
I've always loved Gibson guitars, but won't buy anything new from them anymore.
They've sunk to the bottom of the barrel for me.

I mean no disrespect to anyone here. Po'd people without direction and purpose have never solved problems. We need a level head and the right people need to hear about it in a way that makes them interested to listen.
Gibson is in trouble, Cakewalk is a casualty. Things are probably too far gone for them to have many options now. No amount of anger will make any of that any better.

I totally agree.
But with no Po'd people, nothing will/might happen
Things are still very uncertain, but let's keep hope alive as long as viable

I'm on board with the Microsoft idea.  Genius.  DEFCON 3 initiated.

Be careful what you wish for in regards to Microsoft buying Cakewalk.
If that happens, their goal will be to create a Windows app to compete with Garage Band.

Screw Microsoft!  I'd give it to a company like Native Instruments, at least they know something about audio and could even make it cross platform without using Crossover ;)

It would still be better than no more SONAR, ever
Not a 1st choice, but there might not be that many interested parties.
