The weather vane is a nice touch.

You'll have to block that big opening up though the wind is blowing right in it.

I'll never be able to kip in there with that draught going on.

studio?

Man, you could drive Terry Bozzio, his kit and riser all set up through that front door.

Cool studio.

Actually I did some work in a studio round here in the 90's that was housed in a similar building.  It was actually a nice place done out inside.  With sleeping space in the roof space and really good facilities.  Just as well as we had to live in it pretty much for 3 weeks.

Very nice Bub!
Like the style, layout and colors.

Just in case you haven't thought about it..
Nows a good time, before they pour, to put some "dummy" pvc or whatever for any
lines you may want to run later on.
Also a great time to box in for a floor hideaway, small stash hole, floor safe or whatever one
wants to call it.

Now I imagine you as Lt. Dumbar...I think that was his name.

Hi Bub,

I'm amazed what a guy can do with a cord of wood.
You must-a burned through some planer blades.

That is one killer outbuilding! You could almost put my house in there. Would make a sweet studio if you put a door in that big hole;)

I attracted lots of local critters to my yard too, all I did was take my Thanksgiving turkey carcass out back and leave it. Day one had one visitor day 2 brought in several dogs and what looked like a wolf, day three there was no trace of anything.

Thanks everyone.

The reason we built this was the garage attached to the house is tiny. My truck won't fit in there, let alone my tractor, tiller, and all the other lawn care crap we've accumulated over the years.

Half the building is going to be a garage/storage area. The other half will be a kennel/workshop.

I thought about setting up some kind of recording studio in there, but it would take a lot of work. I'd have to keep it heated and cooled all year round, and to be honest, I'm losing my interest in music. I was really excited when we moved here to get some kind of a studio set up, but the more I get in to it, it's just too expensive, and I never have time anymore anyway. As soon as the holidays are over, I have to get a job and I won't have any time anyway. So, I'm gonna pack it in with recording and music. I'm actively trying to sell all my guitars except for my old Jap Strat and the Epi Sheraton I just got.

@Spacey, that's a good idea. I'll definitely look in to that. The last thing I want to do is be drilling holes in the steel to run power in.

Gotta go ... thanks again.
