Apparently they delivered a bilkers cord.

Sort of like a bakers dozen only in reverse.

From the Missouriam Webster dictionary:

Would the math change if the units were stinky feet instead of cubic?

It'll take less space if you set light to it first and then transport it as ash.

HTH.........
That did help! :) It made me laugh! :)

Speaking of ashes ... an old timer gave me a tip for cleaning the glass on a fireplace. Mix up some of the white powdery ash left over from the previous nights fire with some water and make a paste. Rub it on the glass and rub it off. I just tried it and it works amazingly well! :-)

See ... some good did come from this thread. :)

That's called "potash"... which relates to the word potassium... which relates to a compound called "lye" (a.k.a. potassium hydroxide)... which relates to soap... which relates to cleaning things.

Don't ask me how I know.

He would have to have it stacked roughly 3 feet over the top of the cab ... it's not possible for that truck to handle that. I couldn't even get it stacked to the top of the bed, the wheel wells were about 2 inches from the tire.

Woodn't that depend on how heavy it is and not how much there is of it?

Yeah, but even a cord of light wood like Walnut is pretty heavy.

This is the exact truck I have. Same color, same rims, it's 100% identical except for that funky front bumper. I don't know what those two slots are, maybe inlets for a factory transmission cooler? Mine's not like that. I got the pic off a web site.

If anyone can fit a full cord of any kind of wood in the bed of this truck, you're a better man/woman than me. Even with the top of the bed is 38.75 C/F, so imagine how high it would have to be to fit 128 C/F. :-)

It would be a few sticks over 3 x the bed depth.   Simples.

Anything higher than the wheel wells and you can remove them from the equation.... so you're effectivly working with a 40cf load bed x 3  which would come to just over the roof line.

A couple of load straps from the tail gate, over the load, over the roof and down to the custom slots in the front bumper fender and yer done.

I guess thats what the custom slots are for...

Don't forget the rear passsenger compartment. You could stick a lot of wood in there.

That's where I keep my spare tire. Doh!

Living on that gravel road in Iowa all those years rusted the bottom of the truck. I got a flat one time and the wire pulley system that holds the spare up underneath was rusted solid, so I had to cut it out. I keep the spare in the back seat now because the sun was dry rotting it. Doh!
