Me too.

I learned most of Paranoid so our
three piece could play the school stuff. Sock-hops I think
is what they called them....little breaks during the day.

I must have been 110 lbs in a Superman tank and singing.."I am iron man"...what
a sight that must have been.  I was playing a gold top and had a big amp though....
We had a ruff time learning those tunes...none of our moms liked the tunes so practices
were usually cut short and we put them together on stage.

High times too..they'd let us loose from classes so we could set-up in the band room
and practice.
I now recall another old group from that time that we had to learn some stuff...D.O.A.
Bloodrock?
Turn it up.

Rain
When I grew up, all those classic bands were totally uncool. Because, well, we were teenagers and had to rebel against everything that came before us. I can remember the look on people's face when I proudly walked in school w/ a bunch of Sabbath LP's under my arm...

But having heard the songs on Ozzy's Speak of the Devil, I wanted to hear the real thing. That opening riff from Symptom of the Universe on that album, man, to me, that was the quintessence of all things heavy.

I first bought Paranoid and it took a a few listens before I really got into it - the guitars weren't as distorted and the whole thing sounded retro, but once I got it, I was in for good, and it opened the door to all those other bands like Led Zeppelin and such.
