Bapu, you've been misled. One note does not an Am make. You've been playing A major all this time! You should have gone back to the music store for lesson #2 - I know, you couldn't, because of all the gigs.

Bit, you must have missed it. I invented the Am bass note. Ask nearly anyone here (as in SteveStrummerUK).
