I recently heard about these two talented young ladies from Sweden. Dang, they are good.
 

About as far from heavy metal as you can get, but Julie Fowlis is very nice to watch and listen to.

Me too, my friend.  Love female vocalists.  I have been thinking more and more about actually trying to find one to work with on a few tunes and see what happens.  
 
I would like to find a good prog metal band with female vocals.  I probably need to give Jinjer and another chance.

Wow Rain.....that would've been really something!!! You wife must have a one heck of a voice cos that Tarja is fantastic. I'm totally getting into Nightwish (after listening to that video). 

I have always been a big fan of Angela Gossow when she was in Arch Enemy ;)
