Do yourself a favor. Sell that thing and buy a proper USB interface. 

I would agree about getting a decent interface, but I wouldn't part with the Boss unit. The COSM EFX in those things are fantastic. I use (and have for years) a Boss BR-8 between my guitar and my M-Audio 24/96, with dozens of guitar sounds that I've created and stored ready to dial in.

I'm not familiar with that unit but I love Boss guitar stuff. They're my favorite pedals. I was going on the assumption that maybe the OP was unable to afford a proper interface and if it was an either or situation I think the interface is more important and useful but yeah... even without the effect's little porta studio stuff is ultra handy. I'd actually like to get a Zoom at some point.
