The way I play a producer is to do what he wants then come back into the studio after he's gone and record what a I want.

That's worse than a drummer skippin the beat....I'm reading and jammin
along and then...what?....no "But"....but it says but...and then three or
four measures have gone by and I'm sitting there wondering.....who wrote
this....more measures go by and I'm still wondering...he didn't sing "But"....
