Aside from all the sodium Ramen's not a bad diet. Just load it up with cheap veggies, fresh garlic, hot sauce and whenever possible some chopped up meat (cheap cuts). If you do it right it's like Pho you'd get charged 8 bucks for in a restaurant.
Yes! That's actually a good way to do it particularly without using the included seasoning and dehydrated vegetable packs. I always keep a bottle of good quality soy sauce on hand and my own blend of Asian seasoning. Other times I simply add a few eggs (roughly scrambled) a dash of soy and pepper and that's it... believe it or not that is truly a great combo and is a popular Asian breakfast... but I'll eat it anytime!
@ Rain,
I think it's best to buy larger bulk packs of egg noodles and usually 8 individual bundles and I think it only costs about $3 per pack. Not sure which brand is best but one time I got a pack with very good use-by date but tasted old and stale.... ewww.... I guess the store manager must have kept them too long in the boot of his/her car or at the back of a smelly damp closet.
@ Herb,
I have rice and love to make my own stir-fry combo with whatever
dead food left-overs I may have in the
closet fridge
So yeah... with rice or noodles as the 'base' the possibilities are endless!
Post Edit: oops, I forgot to say..... ArrrrHhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh
