I had never used a metronome in my 20+ years of playing up until I bought Sonar in the spring. I always played along to a drummer (and sometimes I was the drummer) or my own internal drunken meter. Always seemed to work out. Now that I've decided to be a little more by the book and actually start using a click track it takes me a few tries to get used to it but once I get the groove I'm usually good to go. Still need a little more practice at it though... especially when I'm pad slapping.
