Talking of bass solos, I was thinking I'd like to hear this soon, perhaps by a Mr Strummer though?

It really gets going around 1:05 but the rest is worth watching and should you want to hear it in song context it's HERE along with that great drum beat. Bass solo starts around 2:50 although the vocal overpowers most of that in the live mix.

I could do a 'hybrid' version in 9:3:3:1 time.

It might evolve into something worth inheriting.

Although if it ain't broke, don't Mendel it.
