Technically, this should go to the songs forum but Nahhhhh... it's a video and probably not recorded with Cake...

advice.....

1. have 3 minutes

2 watch in full screen

3. turn up the sound

3. be prepared to watch this several times.... it's that good in so many ways.

Someone here always seems to record this song around this time of the year, and to be honest, I never heard it until about 2 years ago on the songs forum....

This version is quite beautiful.    https://www.youtube.com/w...ed&v=r8WGlhJKlGo#!

I wish I could take the credit for this but I can't.....all I can do is share it.

Very nice, lovely arrangement, love the harp. This was always my favorite winter song as a kid and singing it at school always made me feel warm and Christmassy inside.

For folk fans, here's Bert Jansch singing it with very nice guitar part:

And here's the tab for the guitar part by yours truly (plug plug plug):

Good find! I haven't seen that.

Not only is the song great, she's a fantastic trumpeter (I used to play it - miss it!!) and she's drop dead gorgeous too!
