Nice solid modern rock! I like it a lot! Strong vocal performance and pretty cool guitar stuff. (Nicely shredded solo)
Snare could be a little more in the face, indeed. What I've noticed is the chopped guitar riff driving the song, which is great b.t.w., is hanging all the way to right through the entire song. I found that slightly distracting. I would have
double-tracked the part and panned it hard L/R. Just my 2cents.
Good stuff all around!

Cheers,
Daniel

I`m not sure if I understand what you mean about the chopped guitar riff... Are you refering to the pumping guitar..?

Yeah, call it pumping, palm-mutetd, anyway that awesome main riff going all the way through the song. To me it is  carrying the song and should be coming from both speakers, like really wide. Playing the same part twice as tight as possible and pan them hard L/R would be the first choice of options to me.  But this is only my humble opinion.
Otherwise, great song and production. I enjoyed it even more listening the 2nd time around. : )

I might just try that, thank you! How do I treat the guitar? Two identical instances panned hard? Or should I use slightly different effects on one of them?

Love the vocal.  Your command of natural vocal distortion is really something.

Lead guitar is very Michael Schenker with a little more chops. Nice solo.

If you take the effort and record a 2nd guitar track I would suggest the same amp sound, same guitar , pick up, effects and record exactly the same part one more time.
To try out if you like the idea you could start with a few bars and check the result.
Another way would be the good old trick where you copy the already existing track and shift the copy ever so slightly like 10ms later than the original track and than pan it. But double tracking will always sound better.

Added some upper mids to vocals with multiband compression, and added some top to the snare... That kind of opened the song up a little, but it took some time getting used to the changes on the vocals... The snare sounded better right away :D The doubling and hard panning of the guitar didn`t go quite so well... I`ll have to spend some more time to see if I can solve that one :/

wow - great stuff Øyvind.
Only small crit - the snare could do with more 'snap' to it especially in the big parts.
Nevertheless, really very very good
