Got home and this arrived...
 
I unboxed it and sure enough...played from USB memory stick just fine- has a
good sound too. Much better unit than I thought $120.98 including shipping, would get.

The funny thing is our kid was watching and I told her it would work with her phone...
I had to order me one.
Yeah she already had a set-up but...she has me wrapped around her finger....and that's Ok.

Well it was a fun test run.
