Wasn't the Sonar X1 forum a battlefield two years ago? Fortunately it has now returned to a support forum mostly.

The way I remember it was, a lot of people were having problems with "DAW 2.0" and there was almost 100% denial on Cakewalks part that was fueled by a handful of users that insisted everything was fine and downplayed some real problems.

There are certain people here who get their rocks off by playing the Devil's advocate, and saying the opposite of what logic dictates, just to dig at an open wound.

Since I blocked them, I haven't had any problems here at all.

It was said that I was in denial by some. However I can quite safely say that X1 was more stable for me than X2 is. Which just goes to show that on each individual's system some software works better than others.

I'm not saying X2 is unstable by the way, it only crashes sometimes when browsing audio loops which I've reported but X1 just didn't crash for me. I think a lot of the problem is/was that some just find it impossible to believe that others could possibly be experiencing something completely different to their own experience.

I so far haven't told anyone that finds X2 more stable than X1 that they are lying. That however happened regularly to me when I claimed X1 was more stable than 8.5 for me, which it was.

That's life I guess.

That's kind of like assuming that all Americans are just like the cast of Jersey Shore. And of course, some of them are indeed just like that. 

People are people, everywhere. French humor is hilarious if you ask me, but the language barrier makes it difficult to appreciate I suppose. But then again, anyone who speaks both languages and watches the American remake of a French movie, like Dinner of Schmucks, will quickly notice that the humor is entirely different.  (In this specific case, that's being polite. ;)

That being said, the OP obviously wasn't in humor mode when he posted that one. I suppose he was expecting something a bit more formal in terms of community support.

I'd sussed that you didn't have me blocked but just because I'm paranoid doesn't mean that everyone isn't out to get me......

I was really just trying to make the point that there are so many different experiences with the same program that one persons view can be right while at the same time a completely different experience for a different user can also be right, it's all perspective.

A little tolerance and understanding helps a lot.
