It's not in perfect shape, but it's in the exact condition I got it back in 1989.

The person that owns this music store is one of the instrument appraisers for Antique's Roadshow. In other words, when they say, "plays like a dream ... incredible sound ... you won't find a guitar that sustains like this one", they ain't blowin' smoke up your methane release valve.

They also have some really high end Martin's. It's a cool web site and a cool place to visit.

If anyone's interested please contact the good folks at the web site.

Thanks.

Thanks. I hate to let it go, had it since 89', but I can't play it anymore. My hands hurt too much now days to wrap around that big neck. Plus, I'm just not in to that LP sound. I bought because it was so rare of a find. I recorded a lot with it. I bought a nut extender one time that lifted the strings up high so you could play it as a lap steel. That sounded great.

i bet it did.

i've seen that done a few times, that's a great technique.

i played a black les paul that dated to 1987, it had P-90's, and was the ONE les paul i wished i had sprung for...
the one that got away.

it had an incredible tone, and felt so nice to play.
