We just got access to netflix in dk, I've heard so much positive about it from my US gaming friends.

Just looked it over as they show what you get access to, there's like 12 categories with about 10-15 movies in each, some of them repeats from other categories and a few series, most of it old stuff and almost everything boring very old blockbusters.

Is that really all there is in the U.S version of netflix? There's like maybe 5 movies I'd watch again (Already saw them when they were out years ago)

Huge disappointment, pretty much the same as viasat on demand, a bunch of old crap I can watch as reruns for free.
Nope, you don't get any more than that. It sucks IMO. So does Hulu Plus. Amazon Prime is ok-ish, but you have to pay to extra on top of their monthly fee to see anything worth watching.

I signed up for The Cult Movie Network the other day. It's $2.99 a month and you can cancel after 1 month. I tried to watch about 10 of the movies and they are so horrible I couldn't watch a single one. They aren't even B movies ... we're talking D movies shot on hand held VHS camera's. What drew my attention to them was their advertising, and the artwork they show makes the movies look really good ... not a single one was worth a penny to watch IMO.

This whole 'on demand' thing is a scam IMO.
Walking Dead Season 1 on DVD = $16
Walking Dead Season 2 on DVD = $27
Netflix 1 month - no contract and cancel whenever you want = $8
Scam?

Man, that latest episode was INTENSE!

We just watch them on iTunes. A bit more expensive, but no hassles for us. Plus they're available immediately, unlike our favorite, Dexter.

Intense is the right word - the shock factor seems to have been ramped up for this season

Eric Clapton, after seeing Hendrix set his guitar on fire, remarked "what are you gonna do next, set yourself on fire?"

You gotta wonder what the WD writers will need to do in order to up the game further. They've already shot a child in the head, ignoring one long-held TV taboo. They've performed multiple surgeries and amputations without anaesthesia and dissected still-moving dead people.
How many more ways are there to gross viewers out? How far out there will mainstream television be allowed to go?
I can't wait to find out.

I see the whole show as a symbol of the Meth dead, that are still walking around. Is it only me?
