So Im sitting here with me coffee staring out the window this morning at the ice on the roofs and frosted over cars.

We take so much for granted it seems until something effects us.

I cant help but think while watching the news that I wish there was something more we could do for our friends out east.  To be hammered by a hurricane and then to have another storm with snow and ice hit them when they have no utilities and all the devastation surrounding them is terrible.

The best I could to is trade one of my 2 generators for some music gear to a contractor that was heading that way to help where he could.  I hope it helps in bringing comfort to some out there

That was a good idea, Mike.  It sounds very useful and constructive.  I wish I had something like that to contribute.  I'll have to settle for my small donation to the Red Cross.

My thoughts and prayers go to everyone affected by these storms.

It must be horrific in the low parts of NYC and NJ.. here in ct we fared a lot better and the last Sandy refugee left my house Sunday.. it was a bit cramped in here for a while mid-week...lol

There was a minor Earthquake in Jersey a day or so ago too ... surprised nobody here mentioned that.

I still haven't heard from my sister, dad, or grandmother. Must still be without power ... but you would think they would make some kind of effort to let me know what's going on. I mean, it's only a 20 minute drive to Pennsylvania from where they're at ... they have gas and power ...

Obviously, New Englanders are being punished by some vengeful deity for their wicked ways. I blame it on those New Jersey-themed reality shows.

Nature, like most humans, realizes that sometimes you just have to flush twice.  After Sandy, she noticed that there were still a few lawyers and politicians left clinging to the bowl...

Hope all the rest of humanity out there is surviving!

The nor'easter wasn't too bad thankfully....was a pretty dismal day outside yesterday, but there isn't much snow on the sidewalks today.

All is not well. And winter is coming a bit early. After the economic meltdown we're already in, this hits the east coast. There are hard times a comin.
