This is the podcast I recorded not long ago with Alan Tubbs or AT as he is known around these parts.....the file is a mono Mp3 which doesn't do much for my opening music. I might need to change the music entirely.

I appreciated Alan giving his time for the interview and I think he had a lot of good things to say. The phone recording itself is listenable as far as phone conversations go, but certainly not pristine audio. Sometimes when you hear a podcast the host is going through a nice mic while the guest is on their standard home phone. In this case we are both recorded from the phone lines. As it is you can hear it ok.

Syndication takes 3 or 4 days to go through and after that the feeds will be steady and you can then subscribe to the show. As it is you can still get it right on your computer at http://www.recordinghound.com/?p=377 and click on the player below my post.

I'm a big fan of podcasts. I listen to them on my daily walk. I keep a few gigabytes' worth of them in reserve for long trips and any other situation where I'm forced to sit still for any length of time. I am cursed with a low boredom threshold, something I think one is supposed to have outgrown by age 62. Listening to podcasts saves me from thinking about politics right before I'm about to have my blood pressure checked at the doctor's office.

Downloading yours now; it'll be my walking companion later today.

Thanks guys! I appreciate the listens!  I might casually mention the show in the future, but I won't keep coming here and posting links to my site for obvious reasons.....I use Sonar and am very happy with it as well as the high quality of training materials they have available .No need to deviate from the mission of this site.

I'll be here but I'll be getting the word out in other ways.  I'll keep my website in my profile should you need to find me.The guys at Cakewalk have been more than great, I plan to continue to be a supporter from a distance.

I'm working on some new ideas for the show and lining up more guests, so I hope you'll pop on over there and check out subsequent shows..Cakewalk software will continue to be a big part of what I do.

You're not making a dime off of anything, Tim. You use and love Sonar, you involve other Sonar users, your stuff is informative and helpful...win/win/win for you in your attempt to reach out and inform, us to learn from you and your experiences and Cakewalk is the core of it all. :)

We had a really good time talking.  I'm just glad all the "ums and ahs" were edited out, so I sounded more eloquent  than I am. ;-)

Thanks AT for coming on the show. I didn't really need to edit much lol.

I hung out with Danny Danzi recently and we recorded another show.. It might be in two different episodes, should tie in well with my series on guitars in the home studio http://www.recordinghound.com/?p=443 . If you play electric guitar...Danny has a lot of great things to say on that subject that you won't want to miss!
