I've heard a lot of shooting here, especially on weekends, but it has been slowing down. IIRC, its bow season in Iowa right now. I had a guy here doing some sheetrock repair on my ceiling, he said ye thought it was gun season but wasnt sure. With all the gunfire i hear i assumed he was right.

I love to shoot black powder cap and ball. Love all the smoke and smell of real gun powder and loading the guns. With all the firing around here I may start doing it again. Ill have to see how the dogs react.
