Yes, she is a very good singer...as is Daryl.  And yes, rock on ol pal, he does not look or sound his age.  But when you listen to these videos...hear that they have been taken and cleaned, superlatively mixed and mastered before the video is posted.  It is indeed as they recorded it only "tweaked".  And today that "tweaking" can be very transformative.  It is quite easy to hear.  No room noise...no instrument, chair, stool or bench squeak... no breaths...just very well recorded, mixed and mastered music.  The actual live tracks would still sound fabulous.  But not THIS fabulous.

Man olpal, I was sitting here watching some of these and thinking the exact same things! I'm curious as to how much production polish went into them after the fact. I was trying to see if there were any vids on this, but couldn't find any. It sounds too good to be live in my opinion. Granted, I know that every one of those players are fantastic...but there are certain elements I'm picking up on that sort of kill it for me as I know there was definitely some doctoring going on.

Like for example, I'm hearing auto-tune on a few things...the kick and snare sounds fantastic, but not realistic, it doesn't sound like it was recorded there "at once"...there are a few elements that sort of bothered me...but I'd be lying if I said I didn't enjoy the show, the songs, the various artists and of course the incredible audio quality I'm hearing. I just feel it shouldn't be billed as "live" when you listen to how that sounds compared to how it would sound if it were more raw.

That said, it's one of those shows when you start watching it, you simply can't stop. I wish I was famous and could get a chance to be a guest....I'd so have a blast. Maybe in another life.

'Olpal, Danny, we have a great show over here; 'The Transatlantic Sessions', and I've always been impressed with the sound they achieve. How much post production do you reckon is going on here?
