Then they lost themselves for a bit to meet the expectations of their new label, line up started to change, and they went through various phases, from prog metal back to trash metal before long time fan Jason Newstead finally joined them for their last studio effort and a posthumous album after guitar player Denis D'amour died.
Musicians praised them, from Soundgarden to Faith No More to Metallica - and I definitely can hear their influence when I hear some less mainstream metal or industrial metal.
