Shakes a finger at the naughtiness. Bad Zoot!

Wicked, naughty Zoot!  There's only one punishment here at Castle Anthrax....

anyway - my studio is painted Olive with light brown ceiling.  gives it a "manly-man-cave" kind of feel to it.  and I have a black valence.  curtains are white with music notes all over it.

this is the shelf on one of the walls (above the couch)

Ha!  Cool.  Do you ever feel tempted to play your shelf?

only BEFORE it was mounted on the wall!

kevin - I agree with spacey and craig - if I had a space like that my wife would NEVER get any work out of me around the house!  (I say that like she does now!)

THANKS Reece!  I want that shelf.  Looks custom did you make it?

yes, it's a custom shelf!  there's a great story behind it!

my wife and I were celebrating our 20th anniversary at a B&B a couple of years ago and the B&B was having a yard sale to support a charity (can't remember which one right now).  the wife of the B&B was running the yard sale and she had put several things in the yard sale from her husbands' collection of things (with his permission).  his hobby was restoring old analog instruments - including pianos.

the keyboard was in the yard sale - it's from a 1800's square grand which he was not able to use for his restoration.

I bought it from the yard sale for TEN DOLLARS!

it's very heavy - real ivory.  when the back is against the wall, the keys won't move, which is actually a good thing since if they did they could fall out if they weren't held into place.

when I asked the lady how much she wanted for it and she said $10 - I just about fell on the ground!  good thing I had driven my pickup truck to the B&B!

I'd talk with drumstixkev. Definately one of the nicest
I've seen posted.

(well if you won't Kev, I will :)

I still think this is one of the most impressive small studios I've ever seen (and I'm not excluding this to home-made ones either).

Yup - this is the mutts nuts for sure. I would never be out of it.

Only thing I can't see is the fridge, but I'm sure he'll have one lurking somewhere near - who would go and do all that work and miss out an important detail like that ?

You've got to keep those a little farther away or else the condenser sound gets into the mix (go ahead and ask me how I know! ).
