Thanks Bat. I'm at work and couldn't post pic.

May note that the "Blender" is not the same as I use.
I use the stack so two pups can be mixed in and out together....one comes in one goes out.

In the drawing the tone pot is used to mix the middle pup in to either N/B....cool.

My longtime lefty geeter player friend from our high school band just turns a righty upside down.

I just got so used to working with him (imagine learning the chords he played to a new in process song) that even today when I watch a true lefty it seems sooooooooo wrong.

Just looking at a left hand guitar is strange to me, more less upside down.

I got curious about a band that I only heard bits of on the radio so I bought
their "Unplugged in New York" DVD...Nirvana. I really enjoyed it and didn't
mind watching Kurt play at all. Just a great gig IMO.

I've watched several Hendrix shows on TV in the past year. I'm amazed by how much he used his thumb.
I think he must have had large hands.

I remember reading an article when Fender released the Woodstock strat in the 90s and the reviewer specified that in order to provide an experience that was as authentic as possible, the pick up were reversed.

The thumb helps you play some AC/DC tunes too.

I've got the below DVD somewhere and it cracked me up watching it.  The "remaining members" try to explain things which, if you really check it out, have nothing to do with how Jimi probably came up with things.  I still haven't done much with it since a couple of friends were always bugging me to borrow it.  I got it back before I moved a while back and it's in my "library" but I was checking out other things at that time.

LOL  Glad I could pick yours and Mikes brain Spacey on this earlier

Yeh,

I flopped the string
Swapped out the Nut to a lefty
Reset the intonation and string heights

as for the switches and potentiometers they were left as is.  Just a mtter of my daughter getting used to components location which doesnt effect the operation of the original install/design.

I see what ya meant on inverting the pups, the base doesnt allow for this with relation to cutouts they fit into so it is what it is unless there are specifically made lefty pups.

This one is just for her to learn on and the ops check of it sounded good so Im not to concerned with proper pups on the install.  Does make ya think on the poles/polarity, magnet heights, etc... in relation to the string they pick up though.

Course one option that could be done is to recarve the body to allow for the invert but dont believe I would attempt it on an American Strat.

Would really take alot of structure out by the neck and bridge areas
