Actually, when I auditioned for classical lessons at the music school years later, I picked the Diary of a Madman acoustic guitar intro - which, my teacher later told me, was inspired by a Leo Brouwer study.
Funny because after I got back to playing electric guitar a couple of years ago, I realized how much his influence was still present in my own playing, even after all those years.
