Well, the first week is over, and the campaign has done incredibly well. The total currently sits at $4,850.00, which means 23% of the overall total, and a whopping 75% of the amount needed for the down payment. Thank you, all! It’s been a roller coaster since I started this campaign, but now we’re closing in on the amount needed for the down payment. If I can at least get that much, then I can get the surgery completed, and move on from that point. The campaign has managed to stay on the front page of Health thanks to all the activity, and page 2 of Popular. Even if you can’t donate, please share the link that’s under the picture on the front page. I need more people to visit the site to keep the campaign high in the rankings.

We're in the last three days of the campaign, and Indiegogo has informed me that this campaign will be the featured campaign on twitter tomorrow. So, I want to draw as much attention to the campaign as possible. If you could post the link to this campaign on your facebook, twitter, or other social media, it would mean a lot to me. 

At $5,400.00, we're at 25% of the total funds needed to cover the surgery, and an amazing 83% of the total needed for the down payment on the surgery. That means that I need to raise a total $7,120.00 to get the surgery after fees are subtracted. That leaves a current balance of $1,720.00 still needed. Whatever you can do to help will be sincerely appreciated. I just want to feel better and get back to a normal life.

Even if I don't reach the goal, it's been an amazing experience with the amount of love and caring that people have shown me.

Yesterday went really well with the Twitter campaign, the interview with M Monica, and everyone pulling together to help get the word out. I’m just a little short of what I need for the surgery, so I’m asking everyone to make a push in the last 24 hours. I know I’ve asked over and over, but this will be the last hurrah. I still need to raise a bit for aftercare since I’ll be out of work for a while, and I need followup visits to make sure that the condition doesn’t return. So please, spread the link to the campaign everywhere you can. Thank you, everyone! I wouldn’t be doing so well without your help. I look forward to getting out your perks and letters. Well, it’s drawing to a close. Just six hours left, and we’ve made a majority of what we needed. Your contributions, love, and donations have changed my life both internally and externally. I am still a little short of what I need for the surgery, so if you could look at my campaign before it ends, I would appreciate it. Indiegogo, Paypal, and the credit card companies absorb 13% of the funds donated, so I need an additional 400.00 to reach the goal of down payment for the surgery.
