Nope, rice has gone bad for some reason I do not remember right now. Ah, look it up.

oh, man I LOVE me some rice pudding!!!  but I've never put honey in it.

would that be in addition to the sugar already in the rice pudding?  that might be TOO sweet.

local honey is supposed to help with allergies, but it's never helped me.  my allergies are too severe.

I'd try it in a flash. Can't hurt you. Good for you. Sure....unless you planned to eat a few quarts of it.

I've heard that honey helps to heal and alleviate allergies.... not only due to all the local pollen in it but also on wounds and cuts and things.  It's anti-bacterial in nature and has a ton of good things in it that speeds healing.

I'm guessing you have to use it on a regular basis to build up the antibodies needed to deal with allergies.  I believe allergies are more common these days because people and kids especially don't spend much time outside getting natural exposure to the allergens that are a normal part of our environment. We all live in air conditioned homes, drive air conditioned vehicles, and work in doors in air conditioned offices..... is it any wonder we are allergic to pollen?

I have been afflicted with it too, in the past,  but I have, for the past several years, attempted to spend more time outdoors, especially in the springtime pollen season, to get that exposure and my allergies have, for all intents and purposes,  disappeared.

My allergies could not have been due to being brought up in A/C conditions.  we didn't have A/C when I was growing up, not in the house and not in the cars.  we got a couple of window units by the time I was in high school and the first car I had with A/C was my 3rd car as an adult.  my first 2 were without A/C.

my allergies are very very severe.  I spend all my time indoors as an adult because I can because I'm trying to minimize my allergies.  I take 3 Rx and 4 OTC allergy meds EVERY DAY and I still have days that I can't function even enough to go to work during the spring and fall seasons.

but I am certain spending more time outdoors would not cure what I have, it would only make me more miserable.

Why?

Has somebody tipped a bowl of it over your head?

In which case I'd say it was probably good for them.

Sort of on topic...  I tried taking a spoonful of local honey every day for my alergies and it helped a bit (the Farmer's Market actually had a guy who kept the bees that serviced the flowers at my home - can't get any more "local" than that!).

It did help me get used to all the new stuff, but I still needed to take an over-the-counter medicine on top of it (Claritin or Alegra).
