I'm still quite happy with my current one but I am also just a few days away from ordering the next one for many of the reasons you touched on.

It seems easier to go all out with a fresh new replacement than to piece meal an old system with maintenance and upgrades so that it seems current.

Thanks Mike, I had no idea my old black box DAW was so behind the times. Obsolescence happens faster all the time. The new DAW should be good for at least three months. lol
