I got my FIRST email newsletter in years. It was about this and I got so excited about getting an email from Cake that I almost bought something I already had...

jbow. I sent a PM out to have the email issue corrected awhile back. I never got one so I went into mycomcast email filters and specifically put Cakewalk in to get emails. I also went to the site and signed up yet again....we'll see. So far I haven't gotten any and I check my spam box. Glad you are getting the emails, this means there's hope!

Jon, I see they spell Z3TA with a '3' instead of an 'E'.
 
And pronounce it "Zay-Ta".
 
I reckon that's up there on a par with Cakers=Bakers

Actually I think this little offer shows something a bit different about Cakewalk in that it seems to be a genuinely decent offer rather than a re-hashed package of an archaic synth that people lost interest in yonks ago.
 
Small offer in itself but I think it is showing some marketing savvy that has previously been conspicously absent.
 
There looks to be life in the old dog yet.
