I'm guessing that everyone will until they see the price.

Looks cool, though not sure about the placement of the USB ports and the screen would need cleaning all the time if my phone is anything to go by.

It'll cost 2.4 million dollars ...and in five years you can get it for about 150 bucks

I really want one though

Bayoubill I tole you... start saving money.

Seriously (sorta)... RAIN... wow! That is some kind of eye candy. There are some really stupid comments on the YT page. I am sure there are more USB ports than on the top for a thumb drive, duh. I also am certain that you can use a mouse as well as a finger, some of us worry about the idea of having our arms extended for any period of time. You are still young, you will not understand that until you get older, then you probably will, but I hope not.. but hey! I am sure there is a finger on a stick that one can buy as well. Man that thing just looks awesome. Like I said in my reply to Bill's post... in ten years I am sure that generation will have to look it up to find out what "latency" refers to. Things just change so fast... heck we might have a 360 degree holographic interface that we can stand inside of before you know it... with not only virtual instruments but virtual studio musicians and AI.

"When I win the lottery,
gonna buy all the girls on my block... a color TV and a bottle of French perfume,
when I win the lottery" David Lowery CVB (Key Lime Pie)

(When I win the lottery gonna buy all my friends on Cakewalk... a big touch screen and a bottle of single malt... when I win the lottery, when I win the lottery.)

Thanks for sharing. It is really inspiring to see what true entrepreneurs are doing. I've been watching the History Channel series "The Men Who Built America", (Commodore Vanderbilt, John D. Rockefeller, Andrew Carnagie, J.P. Morgan, Henry Ford). A good series! It is good to see this sort of froward thinking is still alive and well. Steven Slate will do even greater things I think... he has a vision.

Thanks again for sharing!! Say hello to the cacti.

Must.  Get.  One.

(Someday.  When I have money to burn.  Yeah.)

It looks quite terrible from the ergonomical point of view. See how the engineer needs to reach up to touch the screen and be carefull not to touch the screen with other parts than fingertips. They should give a season ticket to physiotherapist with the machine.

It also strengthens my prejudice about touch screens: That's how big it has to be in order to be able to see and use equally many functions as with a mouse on a 24" screen, and then a shorter & fatter engineer can't reach the top buttons without standing up.
