Could it be that NagBapTM notifications have priority and are usurping the available bandwidth thus delaying all other non-essential communications?

Maybe something small to do with the fact that Google is all android. I think the word Apple makes those guys cringe.They had to make their stuff talk to your stuff.

It would be nice if email addresses could be easily moved the same way we move cell numbers across providers. A piece of cherry pie would be nice right now too but I guess it ain't happenin'

I'm not sure if you can do this with other email providers, but I have my business email (in the form of me@mysite.com) set up so that I access it via the Gmail interface. You can do this via Google Apps for Business. Maybe you can do the same with Yahoo and Hotmail interfaces, I don't know.

The funny thing about Gmail, Google and Apple is that I have my iPhone set up to receive my Gmail via Exchange and it comes through far quicker than my friend who has his Gmail come to his Android phone. In fact it works very well for 99% of the time. Funny, considering how easy it would be for Google to sabotage the whole process!

  I agree. You are one lucky guy not to have an android phone. They aren't necessarily bad but in order to avoid infringement and legal action from Apple they had to make the mousetrap a little different. This sometimes equates to things not working as well. I was surprised at how many devices are using the Google android OS. My blue ray wifi player even has it. Was it samsung that was recently sued by Apple over patent infringement over the touch screen interface Apple uses? It was one of the giant cell manufacturers.

Sometimes I don't check my email for over a week. I have a phone in case anyone really needs to get in touch with me. Anyone online can use a PM or FB... but sometimes I don't go on FB for over a week... I guess most things can wait.

I sometimes wish I didn't have a cellphone. I have come REALLY close to throwing it out of my truck window several times.

No one knows what it's like;
 To feel these feelings,
 Like I do;
 And I blame you!

Apple sued Samsung on the basis that the shape of their tablet (rectanglier with round corners) was the same as a iPad (rectanglier with round corners).

Samsung claimed that things had been made that way for hundreds of years, the court agreed.

They are lucky that Monster Cable and Gibson didn't sue them too. It deos not have to make any sense when lawyers are involved

 Thanks for that info Karyn. I guess hearing screen caused me to jump to conclusions. I know Apple is really protective of their patents. When the first iphones had hit the market there were copies in china within months.Not as good mind you but copied.
