Downloaded v1.02 and followed the install prompts. When it comes to attach a-300 pro to the computer where it will automatically detect and complete install, it stops.
Any ideas to resolve.

I have installed it on Windows 7 and Windows 10 without issue.  Maybe something on your PC, perhaps AV software, may be interfering with the installer.

If that fails, definitely try this.  Windows loads a lot of stuff in the background on a normal boot.  This clean boot, or selective startup, is not as drastic as booting in safe mode, but it's close.  Might eliminate whatever is causing the conflict.  http://www.thewindowsclub.com/what-is-clean-boot-state-in-windows
 
Another thing to try is running the installer as administrator, in case your user privileges are preventing the installer from accessing some files.  Right click on the shortcut, choose "Run as administrator".

All the actions detailed above didn't work. Looks like I will continue to use my other laptop. Also contacted Roland support and they were unable to provide any additional actions beyond those stated.  Many thanks.

Sorry to hear that didn't work.  If you have done all you say, then it must be something else on that PC that was installed previously that is conflicting with the installer.  Otherwise, it should just work.
