Quite a few do actually, but they're usually found outside the 'Pawp' genre.

Kate Rusby sings without disguising her Yorkshire accent

Seth Lakeman has a distinct Dartmoor twang;

Mark Knopfler's North East roots are plain to hear, and he plays on it sometimes

Daryk, you have to spell it generalization or Mooch won't understand it. He's Um-Air-I-Can.

The Beatles sounded English when they sang.
There are loads of big name British bands who sound British when they sing...Oasis, The Smiths, Blur etc.

For certain styles of music though, an American accent is obligatory...can't imagine Mick Jagger singing in a cockney accent for example.

Joe Jackson always sang in an American accent. Could never work that one out.

You want The Bouy and Strammy to sing or play chimes?

I'm really confused now.

And, if they played chimes, how does that answer the question?

Well they will probably answer it more reasonably and with more sense  than what you  just did ....

You so realize Jon and Steve has accent right? You can hear it when they type

C Mooch?

This is where you are wrong.

I asked both Jon and Steve where there accent is from.

They both said "Where I'm from I do not have an accent".

C Mooch?

It's where you're from that they have an accent.

But your from California and you sound nothing like Arnold Schwarzenegger

Peter Gabriel sounds English.

If you really want a total lack of Transatlantic twang, try Dick Gaughan;

or Christy Moore
