Hi,

The only 80's I miss, was the vibrant experimentations and work that Klaus Schulze, Tangerine Dream, Peter Hammill, Roy Harper, and so many other folks did ... that got lost in the shuffle of commercialism. There was some really nice stuff in the 80's that is not looked at, and people tend to choose their top ten favorites.

I do not dislike Kansas, or Boston for that matter, but all in all, I miss the experimentations and the different things. Asia is nice ... but it is just songs ... and I'm not sure that I want to see the John Wetton band again.

John Wetton is actually my least favorite of the band.  I enjoy seeing Downes, Palmer & Howe MUCH more.  Wetton is just kind of "along for the ride," IMO.  which is pretty pathetic considering he's the "front man."

but I love Kansas.  even the arrogant full of himself Walsh.

personally I couldn't care less about the "commercialism" and "sold out" labels that you or anyone else wants to put on whomever.  If I like the music, it doesn't matter if it's a "commercialism sell out" or not.  I still listen to Phil Collins sometimes.
