I didn't know there was a prize and did
know that you were a snooker player....kind of late to
chime in though.....but I'm curious now...
I mean usually the balls are on the table- did ya lose the table too Steve? :)
He he, yes Mike I'm sure I've mentioned the snooker before.
Many moons ago, I was in partnership in my own snooker club. We had eight full size (12" x 6") tables and I used to play for a couple of hours every day in an effort to become reasonably proficient. Nowadays I only play the odd league game, and the lads I play with I've known for 20 - 30 years. And to a man, they all share my warped sense of humour, so we have a certainly have a laugh on match nights.
I envy you Steve. (as I've mentioned before)
I'm many miles from my old friends. We to shared many hours honing our skills and on a
very fine Snooker table too. Two of which were hustlers that I enjoyed watching beat people
from all over the country. Personally I'd play for a drink but raised not to bet/gamble.
The most rewarding games were without doubt with friends...for the game and the company.
I imagine an evening of playing guitar and shooting a game or two with you....top shelf. I got
to get to England. :)
