Copy that, Mike.
This was our back yard in Brighton a few years ago, right after Christmas

Down here, we get a few inches, and everything turns to ice.
I'm ok with snow farther North. it packs, but you can still drive on it.
This ice business is for the birds, and I am not looking forward to that.
I work outdoors, so I get the full effect.
When it does get cold here, it's miserable. With humidity and wind chill, it's to be expected, but 30 here feels like 5 in Denver.

I lived near Battle Creek for 1 winter when I was a kid. I think we had more snow that winter than the 5 winters I lived in Germany combined.

Bob, when I lived in the Dallas area, I experienced both the coldest (-6 F) and the hottest (113 F) temperatures in my life.

Hey all, I recognize that white stuff!. Actually I lived in Denver for 18mths, over 2 winters. Also did a stint back in the good old UK, up north. Soooo, who runs jam sessions online here???. And, how is it done?. Back, WAY back, in the mid 90s, I used to Jam with guys over Yahoo Chat channels.. it was spotty on the 56k modem LOL. I think it's safe to say, we can do better on broadband. What do you all use?, software wise.

We get some white stuff occasionally out here in the Pacific Northwest too.  Here's my neighbor's house next to where I used to live.

Here in NC we don't often get big snows but on occasion... it does come down.

This was my back yard and deck

With a snow like this,,, the entire area gets shut down for several days minimum.... school will be out for close to a week because of roads....

we got well over a foot... I think this was last year or the year before.....

I love it when it snows.  But it's hard to barbecue in the snow......

Just knock the snow of the grill, grasshopper.
The smell of searing meat is devine as it wafts across freshly fallen snow.
Heck, I've been known to grill during a snowstorm. You just have to turn it to 11.
Prime Rib, medium rare, baked potato, and Merlot, with a raging blizzard outside. AAurgh, AAurgh, AAurgh.

gush in old days we'd have more babies during such weather and electricity outbreaks, today we have just full coffee house, isn't that sad and weird
