Since some advice here I have been running a lot more flat. I sometimes bump the bass up by 1 and the treble up by 1 or 2. According to the volume I may hit the "loudness" but I keep it on the lowest of three settings. Some things I listen to completely flat too. This stereo has FIE (Front Image Enhancement) I kinda like it, I keeps a little more of the low end in the back and generally sounds better to me....
