There's a Universal Economic Principle at work here.  When negotiating the amount of funds available for your use to construct, repair, enhance, furnish, equip, and/or fumigate your studio, it's easy to overlook the downside.

Whatever you spend on your studio, she will get to spend at between 10 to 100 times that amount on whatever.  In addition, your expenditure is a one time event, whereas she will run a lifetime tab.  Furthermore, during any future conversation, on any subject, she is free to make the point that she allowed you to waste all that money on your studio.

It's an inescapable fact.

Hello greetings from the "Chosen One" the tent was a idea - apparently not a good idea - for making it easier to keep musicians warm and providing a cozy ambiance. Actually, his recording gear, computer, keyboard, electric drum kit, and 6 guitars (1 bass is mine) are in our bedroom with us and 2 dogs and 2 cats. I'm not sure musicians can fit in there too lol its not a mansion more like a clown car.
On a side note, I apologize on behalf of my gender it seems that some of you have been treated very badly by eeeeeeevil ladies.  I'm not one of them your beloved mooch is in good hands - very good hands

Hello Chosen One, why don't you two put the studio in the living room and make it part of the entertainment system? Since you're both musicians I'm sure you know what adverse temps can do to musical equipment. Music is a social thing and your new husband is a musician, so music is now a big part of your life. Make it easy for both of you.
