It would be nice if the moderators would leave my threads alone. This is now the second
time that my threads dissappear. I have posted nothing that would warrent a bad thread.
STOP DELETING MY THREADS, MODERATORS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Why are you blaming the moderators?

Why not try asking first..

Karyn,

In defense of Cowboy Dan, it can get creepy around here in these last days.

Have had my threads deleted a couple times in the last week, last one in defense of Reaper just a bit earlier today.
I am probably the most opinionated, irritating, verbose bastard on any of these forums. Always able to piss someone off after my third beer, and likely just short of the forums banning me on many occasions.

When my threads go "missing" and looking at the nature of the thread, natural reaction from my subjectivity is that they went "conveniently missing". Knee jerk thought is that someone is trying to silence any dissent or vibes that don't follow the party lines.

Could be just technical flukes, but when lightning strikes in the same place multiple times, you can't blame the recipient for wondering what is going on behind the scenes to preserve political correctness.

You are otherwise correct. Ask before assaulting the moderators, which I probably would have done (meaning would have assaulted before asking... Got an excuse... I live in Oregon...)

Exactly, Dreams,
Though may look suspicious, there are other probable causes for thread deletions not tied to ulterior motive human interference.

I think Karyn's point is that it's probably NOT the mods making your threads disappear, but the forum anti-spam (or anti-something) software called Askimet.

So what you SHOULD be doing is asking a moderator to check and see if your thread was inappropriately removed by Askimet and whether they would be nice enough to restore it.

Thinking about this a little more, since there is NO MORE PRODUCT, they should decommission Askimet and the Mods should be FAR more lenient since they are no longer "protecting" the Cakewalk name.

As well as Akismet there are also "super mods" (not users) and Administrators (also not users).

Some of those are still around and have been active over the past few days...

None of us are deleting your threads, Danny. But Aksimet has been keeping us very busy retrieving lost threads. I used to salvage maybe 2 a day, now it's 12.
