If you are asking my advice, I'd avoid starting arguments and fostering the worst sort of petty disagreements while acting as if you think you are humorous.

''O wad some Pow'r the giftie gie us
To see oursels as ithers see us!
It wad frae mony a blunder free us,
An' foolish notion:
What airs in dress an' gait wad lea'e us,
An' ev'n devotion!''

That's such cheapazz poetry.

Rhyming us with us, us and us.

The notion and devotion was a guudun tho.

I'm not if the crowd could "sing along" with that one like they did for "Our House" at the CS&N concert this past Sattidy night.

I think it sounds good, and if you listen for the best of what you present in your music it is easy to hear that the guitar playing is competent and the synth arrangements are very well done and the song writing and lyrics exemplify good craftsmanship.

If you are asking my advice, I'd avoid starting arguments and fostering the worst sort of petty disagreements while acting as if you think you are humorous.

You certainly shouldn't expect to dare some body to go listen to your music while boasting of your ability to hear when stuff is in tune without a recourse, and you shouldn't needle guys with half witted jokes because they are honest enough to freely admit that playing in tune is not as easy as some would make it out to be, and not expect an honest reply.

You shouldn't fuel a simple difference in opinion in to a polarized and meaningless argument by offering insulting one liners unless you actually want somebody to point out the obvious as retort.

If you are actually asking... that's my advice.

Acting like a petty child about it will probably not make you feel any better... or maybe it will.

It's really up to you.

best regards,
mike

P.S. I meant it, about my having a personal opinion, that the music is good... I usually focus on the good parts... and leave the parts I don't care for to the artists discretion and self evaluation.

I think you should stop taking yourself and this place so seriously, I've always been a petty child. The older boys made me that way sir...

I love the way that as soon as someone questions your 'wisdom' you start tossing insults around ('troll' and insinuating that my racket is out of tune for starters) and then make out it's every one else's fault. Just for the record there's nothing that you can possibly say that'll upset me. I'm far too mild mannered. If I get any more laid back I'll be horizontal. Learn to chill out a bit more, it's better for your health.

I'll leave you to have the final word and stick you back on ignore....
