New backup plan.

I'm finishing up my analog conversion.

I'll give the machine and my tapes to Jan's friend. If he can get them digitally transferred great. If not at least I have "something".

Man I've been spot checking some of the stuff. Of course, it sounds pretty good to me. I wished I had all the raw tracks for some of this stuff (I have some but not all) as I've learned a lot since the 80s and 90s. Sadly the ones I'd really like to mix are the ones from my analogue tape days and those are the ones I never transferred to ADATs when I made the transition. As well I do not have the MIDI taht was sync'd to the tape. I have nearly all my ADAT raw tracks though. It appears I've lost a few ADAT songs along the way. Not sure why. I rarely recorded over anything.

No need, there's a secret government agency that will do that for you (for the protection of anyone who might listen to them later).
