...I finished a project late last night. A gift for my father-in-law.
It is a fretboard box.
I have found a lot of enjoyment in working with wood and mostly building
guitars but it has a big price.
My hands have gone through hell. In the last couple of years I've been to the
emergency room twice. One major rebuild of a thumb and one very bad finger slice.
Last night I was doctoring a finger from an oak splinter that sliced a half inch gap.
I'm not new to working or working with wood. I've built houses and furniture...but
now I'm wondering if my age or luck or something is having a negative effect.
Well whatever it is I feel like it's much like falling off a horse. I just hope the falling part stops.
I hope it stops soon too! I walked by the tube the other night and they were burning something..
sage I think, to get rid of their ghosts....I thought.....naw. Ain't buying it. lol.
Man I've had to edit just about every post I've made...letters missing...my hands
need a
break... rest. Need a rest. See...it's even got me jumpy.
