Apparently Time Warner Cable technicians are racing to the scene and will stop at nothing to fix it. According to the recorded message I just listened to at 1:50am. God this is terrifying, real touch and go stuff. If my modem lights aren't flashing when I wake up in the morning I shall scream and scream and scream until I'm sick!

I was without internet on my desktop for like 10 minutes. I have stared into the abyss. 

Like omg, how totally weird.  Did you try the Gin?  Whenever my Internet goes out, I try the Gin.  Keeps me happy all day, cause I have Comcast.  Gonna give me liver cancer, cause I have Comcast.

Gee, I have Comcast too!  It never goes down and I "only" get 26 MB down with 3.6 MB up.  Boy, it really sucks doesn't it?

I hope you're OK.  that kind of thing can be really traumatizing.

I had an electricity outage last night - now THAT was weird! And I was really stressed out so the only thing I could do was to take a nap. Lasted an hour and then I was X2-ing all night long.


Frustrating...

Now electricity outages...they're 10x as scary. It's like being transported back to the 1700's. The worst is when it happens in the summer, when you wake up sweating in silence and realize your AC isn't running. And just as you're about to fall back asleep, you remember the $150 worth of frozen foods and perishables you have in the freezer.
