Nah, that's not how it works. But since we travel a lot and since many of our friends do too, we use FB to stay in touch. Phone numbers and addresses change all the time.

FB simply made it easier to retrieve certain friends whom we knew were here in Vegas but whose contact info we didn't have.

Yeah, I figured that there was more to it than that really, just making the point that unless your friends are your bank manager etc  then why take their word for your creditworthiness?

BTW, There was a programme on Sky Arts (UK) about being behind the scenes with a cirque du soleil production the other night. Didn't see it all, but I was wondering if that was the one your good lady was in ?

very cool, but you're giving arguments which don't stand anymore - you can't go wrong either with iOS or Windows7/8 or even android today with the iOS being the most restrictive (it can be hacked anyway). More or less they all cover all basics people's needs, it's matter of aesthetics only right now and and personal choice.

I explained, in no uncertain terms that Android doesn't have the same quality of photo apps that iPhone does. That's simple.

I also explained that Android has a far superior map system... which is a fact.

These are not opinions... they are facts.

You simply choose to not acknowledge those facts. You make stuff up and then argue about the stuff you have imagined.

I don't know why they ask that - probably to have a way to retrieve your info if you just vanish w/ the car. They'd go through those friends.


I know they did a behind the scene w/ her in NY last year, but I have no idea if that footage was used. Though a quick Google search reveals something about a behind the scene for a different show on Sky Arts, so my bet would be, nope.


We usually get a log of all web/TV things related to my wife weekly, so I'll double check for any mention of Sky Arts.

this a nonsense comparison man, today one system has better apps and tomorrow the other one has. As a matter of fact most of the 
user activities these days are online in browser where you have same web-apps regardless of OS!
