I just couldn't imagine buying that. I do know that the Tele was made
with Pine but I would imagine they used very choice pieces at the least.

Ah, yes that's what they mean by my neck of the woods.
 
I get it now.  I'm glad I'm a drummer we only have to worry about finding tubular roundwood trees.
